Thirsties Cloth Diaper Review and Giveaway! CLOSED

Have you heard of Thirsties cloth diapers? 

I have had the opportunity to review a Thirsties Duo Wrap and Hemp prefold. And I have to say, I am quite happy! My son is 14 months, and he fits in the size 2 Duo Wrap perfectly! 

My son is is a little chubbier than my older son ever was, so different diapers fit them differently. I am happy to report that Thirsties Duo Wrap fits Joshua wonderfully and we had no leaks during use! We have used it several times already, too!

I must also admit to you: I am a pocket girl. I prefer pocket diapers generally. But after using the Thirsties Duo Wrap and prefold, my eyes have been open to how this is just as easy as a pocket diaper. And a benefit over pocket diapers? I don't have to reach into the pocket to remove dirty inserts. I just throw the cover and prefold into the wetbag or washer! Easy peasy!

In this picture, you can see the leg gussets; they provide a snug fit preventing leaks at the legs. 

You know what I also love about the Duo Wrap? It comes in 2 sizes. Why do I love this? Because one size diapers tend to have a hard time, in my opinion, fitting all sizes/ages really comfortably. I tend to have all one size diapers, because of the cost benefit. But I have noticed they definitely don't truly fit 8-35 pounds completely comfortably. BUT having XS, S, M, L, XL seems like a waste of money to me, to have to ALWAYS be buying new sizes. The Duo Wrap is a nice compromise. You can adjust the size within reason, but there are also 2 sizes, in order to truly get the best fit for all babies. 

You know what else I love?! That it comes in hook and loop (velcro), as well as SNAPS! I am a snap girl. I think it provides the best fit, and I also think that snap diapers hold up much nicer than hook and look diapers. That's a personal preference that I know not everyone agrees with, so I love that Thirsties provides either option! 

Overall, I would highly recommend this company and this diaper!
